Bringing the Warmth – Bright Skirts, Scarves, & Irish Wool

A bright wool skirt with tights & boots is a stylish and safe way to navigate the snow, stay warm on your way into the office and adds a fun pop of color to your outfit. A plaid blanket scarf pulls everything together and is the perfect winter accessory!

Depending on your office’s dress code, you could change out of your winter boots into wedges or heels once you get inside.

Confused about how to tie a blanket scarf? Here’s another blogger’s post for 3 ways to tie one – the 3rd set of directions is how I tied my scarf in the photo above!

While out antiquing this winter, I found the vintage Irish wool cardigan pictured below. I really liked the neutral color and the woven leather buttons; I knew I’d easily wear it with a wool skirt, jeans, or leggings.

Irish Wool Sweater (vintage) – The Irish Store, Nordstrom, L.L. Bean (cotton option) | Wool Pencil Skirt (old) – J.Crew Factory or KJP Darling Skirt| Blanket Scarf – MarleyLilly or Amazon
An Irish wool cardigan and simple chambray top create a classic and warm winter look for running errands or a walk in the snow!
