Tickle Me…Plaid

The newest addition to my closet-this happy plaid coat!

Plaid delights me and over the last 4 or 5 years, I’ve collected many plaid wardrobe items such as pants, dresses, skirts, blazers, shirts, and even high heels. I’ve found that it’s fun to mix and match these items throughout the fall and winter to lighten and brighten my outfits. Plaid is classic and fun and I remain unapologetic for my love of it!

This plaid coat has been the perfect addition to my collection! It’s warm, soft and has a great plaid pattern that I can start wearing in the fall, through the holiday season and even into January and February. I especially like the pockets, the faux red leather detailing and it was under $100!

In the photo above, I styled it casually with dark jeans, flat short boots (because, snow!), and a red and white gingham top. It could also easily be worn into the office with navy pants or skirt and navy or red heels.

Here is the plaid coat as part of a flat lay. I would definitely wear this on a winter weekend day date to lunch and a movie with my husband!
