Already this holiday season, I’ve been asked where I find my holiday sweaters. I’ve found them lots of places so I thought I’d do a round-up of the best sweaters out there right now. My holiday sweater collection may have started with the “ugly sweater” parties we used to go to but now I wear these sweaters for real (no ugly ones allowed)!
All of the sweaters I feature here I’ve had for a few years; however, I’ve tried to link similar sweaters or the same sweater (possibly used) from Poshmark. Poshmark has some really cute options and I’ve never had a bad experience with Poshmark (in case you haven’t tried it yet)!
P.S. If your significant other needs some Christmas present ideas, you could share this post with them! You’re welcome. 🙂
Christmas Fair Isle
Oh my goodness, fair isle sweaters are simply classic Christmas sweaters! Can you tell how happy they make me from my photo below?! They remind me of a simpler time (or a Hallmark Christmas movie) and I am so drawn to them! These sweaters will stand the test of time and are a great investment to keep you warm and stylish during the holiday season! I’ve linked to several of my favorites, including the one I’m wearing.
Bright, Happy Holiday
These sweaters are bright, happy, and red holiday sweaters, featuring a large snowflake or reindeer. If you buy one now, they will stand the test of time and could be pulled out and worn each year. Pair your holiday sweater with a plaid dress (as shown below) for an office holiday party!
Green Leopard
I like these because they could be worn both fall and winter and not just in December. If you style them with some holiday plaid (like the photo below) they can also be worn for the holiday season.
Whimsical Holiday
One ice skate sweater styled 2 ways! On the left, I have it over a buffalo plaid flannel dress and more casually with jeans. I found this sweater on Poshmark – it was originally sold at LOFT Factory. I’ve linked to the same sweater below – currently available on Poshmark (size small)! You can search “Loft ice skate sweater” on Poshmark to try to find your size.
Show Your Team Pride – Holiday Style
One of our beloved local retailers, Charlie Hustle, released this “KC” holiday sweater last winter. At first, I wasn’t sure how I would wear it, but with the Chiefs, I found my answer! This is a great sweater to wear all winter long to show your hometown pride. Perhaps there’s a local retailer in your city who does something similar? I’ve linked to some holiday sweaters below but these might be a tad harder to find…and some may say they’re verging on the “ugly” side…but I say that’s in the eye of the beholder! 🙂
That’s it! What’s your favorite holiday sweater??
XOXO, Leah
